The “Tokyo Fashion Exhibition” at Shiseido is a celebration of Japanese creativity in both fashion and makeup. In a concentrated dose of fantasy and avant-garde-ism, 21 photos are being showcased, representing seven Japanese brands paired with seven of the country’s top hair and makeup artists. Included in the lineup is Facetasm, which won the 2013 Mainichi Grand Prix Award for best brand of the year, and whose collection will be presented as a fashion show on Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. and at 5 p.m.
Other participating brands are Somarta, Aguri Sagimori, Ne-Net, Toga, Anrealage, Dresscamp and Taro Horiuchi. Makeup lessons and talk events (in Japanese) are also scheduled.
