Turmeric is a perennial plant found in the tropical regions of Southern Asia. Mostly traded in whole form, it can also be processed into powdered form, in accordance to need and demand. Usually warm and peppery in flavor, Turmeric Powder is most often used in curries, chutneys, rice and vegetable dishes.
